Halloween

So, Halloween was more fun than I thought it was. I mean, it started off as pretty boring. I took my brother, Spectro, out for trick-or-treating. By nine, I was at home, watching The Shining. We all wore our Alice in Wonderland tribute outfits. I was the Cheshire Cat, Deena was the Queen of Hearts, Kelli was the Mad Hatter, and I bet you can guess who was Alice... Anyways, then we all took off for the party, except for Kelli. She ate way too many Sugar Skulls and got a zit. She faked the flu instead of telling us because she was the one who made such a big deal out of Halloween in the first place. The party was surprisingly awesome. There was music, candy, and cake. It turned out that Jackson was wearing a very good Holt costume. So good in fact, that I ended up accidentally telling Holt that I thought the party was going to be lame. We had a fight, but we're okay now. We ditched the party for scary movies at Abbey's house.

Clawdeen and Skelita's Smashin' Fashions

Remember last weeks' post, about the famous fashion, Joseph VonFalcon, and he actually came with his wife and daughter! The fashions were totes fangtastic, and they blew him away. the outfits were totally amazingly awesome, and he offered both of them scholarships to his new college in Scaris. He said that the fashions were incredibly awesome and he wouldn't change it. But Clawdeen turned him down. Their conversation went something like this.
VonFalcon: Your talent is professional and impeccable, and with practice, I believe that your aptitude in the art of couture can be perfected under the apprentice of me, and you have a real future in fashion.
Skelita: Are you serious? mi abuela will be so very muy proud of me. She didn't want me to be a fashion designer but this will almost certainly change her mind.
Clawdeen; Thanks but no thanks. I am the new manager to the coffin bean, the largest chain of coffee providers ever.
VonFalcon: I understand. However, you are depriving the public of your talents. And that is very selfish. what about you, miss Calaveris?
Skelita: excellente! I will be contacting you at the beginning of summer, and I look forward to working for you.
BTW, update on the whole Frankie Jackson thing: she left for college, but their still good. I mean, their broken up, but their not mad at each other anymore. It's kind of good because the five of us all became friends: that is, me, Skelita, Clawdeen, Abbey, and Jackson. Also, Jackson is throwing a costume party on Halloween. No monster costumes to not be offensive to us. But Jackson is going to be there instead of Holt. I'm going for two reasons. One, because he's my friend, and two, I want to see this train wreck. It's not 50/50 more as it is 30/70. And Deena (AKA Clawdeen) and Kelly (Skelita) want to make us some of those dorky matching group costumes. We're all going as characters from Alice in Wonderland. (Sorry Ever after High students. You can go as monsters for your Halloween party). So, I have to go get ready for this lame-o fitting. It's not Deena that I'm worried about, It's Kelly. I mean, her fashions look great on her, I was just a little disappointed at the fashion show. I don't want to be rude or anything, I just don't want to be a fiesta ready Cheshire Cat. My name is Spectra Vondergeist and I write ghostly gossip. I used to hide that from people because I my identity as a "gossip spy" had to remain concealed. The thing is, though, this way I don't need to hide who I am. Especially now that it's senior year. Besides, It won't even be mine by the end of the year anyways (you can check out the contest page for more info). So I encourage everybody at Monster High to celebrate our differences. So this year, be yourself, be unique, be a monster!
